Sticking with the plan I made on 2024-12-14 (60 minutes or 10k each day … whichever came later, and sprinkling of speed - structured or otherwise - whenever easy felt a bit too easy), ran at home at an easy effort level in pursuit of reaching 1536 running miles for the 2024 calendar year.

I was a little over a mile and a little over a minute short on the daily goal yesterday but I am still on track. Started from 6.10 mph and bumped it by 0.10 mph every 5 minutes through 30 minutes. Felt energetic after the 5 x (0:30 strides + 1:30 float) and continued on till the 60-minute mark. Crossed the 1500-mile mark for the 2024 Calendar Year (for real, not just rounding up like I kinda proclaimed yesterday) along the way. Good run.
