While deservingly on my list of accomplishments, finishing a marathon certainly is not on my list of favorites for the year, ha! Good for all of you who have fun with them, but too many miles for me. For today's route I returned to the section of the race course where I completely hit a wall, I never stopped on that day in April but honestly I think my poor knees and hips are still not recovered. There were 2 miles here that took me literally twice as long to struggle through then as what I did on today's run.  I also ran my first half marathon this year, and I didn't like that either. I will end on a positive though and say that I did enjoy working through the training cycle.
