Fasted. Caffeinated. 40.3 pound pack. Ice hat. No ibuprofen.

First speed ruck run of my 2025 Bataan Memorial Death March training block. I still have junk in my lungs and on top of that, a low hanging tree branch ripped my earbuds out less than a mile in, destroying them. So, although I started out listening to my "Speed 9" playlist, that didn't last long. As such, my cadence was slower than it probably would have been even with my compromised respiratory system.

I realize it's a bit of a PITA to follow the links I've provided now that Strava won't let true links be present here, but if you do, you'll see that I'm still living at my mom's house, but will be making the pilgrimage to my house on Wednesdays to do these speed runs. With luck, when I'm 100% healthy I'll at least get into the ballpark of where I should be for BMDM training.

BTW, I don't plan on doing these fasted, either. I'm just waiting for a check to cash before I can buy some BMDM training Tailwind. I'm pretty serious about trying for the podium in 2025.
