I feel like the unpleasant environment of the ner trains makes a man hate his neighbors. Just the principle of people talking in the quiet car (when i have ear plugs and don’t mind the noise), and people hogging the cafe car seats (when i already have my own) irrationally irritated me. At least hitting 125 mph on the nec always feels good. The virginian section was like riding a freight train. Plus we were delayed an hour from a freight train. Heres to hoping trump makes multimodal transit (bike and trains) more pleasant.
