Afternoon Mountain Bike Ride

In today’s episode of Mt Lafayette.  The forecasted sunshine and high summit winds did not disappoint.  Ice in the usual preseason areas but otherwise fast and frilly.   

I have a 100% success rate of helping people who have never been there before, and this time is was a warning about ice near the top of Little Haystack… which was followed up with:

 “there’s ice?”  
Yeah definitely need spikes in that one section unless you bushwhack the woods.
“Oh, okay.  Is there water to drink at the top?”
Long pause…
No, just ice to eat.
