Skimo Camp Day 1

Different course at the Highlands Base (8300 ft) on mostly man-made snow. Super fun day but a lot of suffering trying to keep up with fast teammates. Carving GS turns on the ice with burning legs and skimo skis was crazy. We even had an NBC crew filming us sprint around in our skinsuits 😅. Tired but felt a little better today and made some progress on transitions despite a couple mistakes that probably deserved penalties.
