Candyland

Hiking Trail

Details
0.55 mi
8 ft
Large jumps, hips, step ups, and drops. Freeride skills required.

Candyland used to be the largest jumps on the mountain, but has since been surpassed by Hungry Hippo. It retains its double black rating, however, due to the large hips, wooden log drop, very loose conditions, and general risk involved in riding the trail. While it can all be rolled, other than the wooden drop, it is not recommended to ride Candyland without freeride mountainbike skills. Instead, take Lower Boogie, which runs directly to the right of it and can be accessed at multiple points throughout. Upon entering from the Chutes and Ladders / Sierra split, it is advised to ride around the large skinny that first appears, as it is roughly 5 feet off of the ground and very high risk. A few loose corners later, and you'll drop into Candyland, riding tabletops into a massive step up that requires high speed, so ride around it if needed. Next, a few corners and a hip jump lead into three table tops, which start with the largest and decrease in size thereafter. Finally, ride a large wooden drop, AKA "boner log", and end with a few more berms into a large tabletop that is able to be seen from the bike shop. If you enter Candyland from Pinball / Lower Boogie, you'll ride a few different table tops, miss the large step up, and then merge into the rest of the trail. Written by FATMAP Official
