Drop Dead Gorgeous
Drop Dead Gorgeous. Despite being inbounds of the ski resort this trail really feels out there. With the vertignous walls of Bec des Rosses, Mt Gele and the 3 finger couloirs above you with Mt Fort in the distance you'll feel very out of bounds. Taking in the beautifully positioned Cabane Mt Fort this trail delivers Big Mountain goodness. Picking up an exposed trail that traverses a ridge between Attelas and La Chaux, don't be intimidated. This section is uncharacteristic of the overall technical nature and is short. You'll gently descend past some wonderful little lakes which beg for landscape photos. Slow technical but not exposed trail takes you to Cabane Mt Fort. Stunning! A mix of fast open trails that take you into the 'Meltwater' trails. While not overly technical but the combination of ridiculous geographic features and glaciated backdrop makes for a memorable experience. Written by FATMAP Official
