Western Transalp: Eau Rousse to Rifugio Vittorio Sella
Brace yourself for a day of a lot of pushing uphill. From Eeu Rousse, head up a steep path towards Alpe Leviona and on to Col Lauson Pass (3296m). On the other side, the descent is very steep and crosses rough terrain, so it may be advisable to walk a few kilometres down until it eases up and becomes a stretch of the best downhill you could imagine, with unreal mountain panoramas to add! Whizz down to Refugio Vittorio Sella, your stop for the night....
