A classic Georgia trail system.
The Dauset Nature Trails are one of the most venerable mountain bike trail systems in the Atlanta Metro Area. Despite having been around for decades, the local SORBA chapter has been diligent with trail building and maintenance over the years, and newly built or refurbished trails help keep Dauset fun and entertaining.
The trail system offers over 20 miles of interconnected trails that are mostly easy- or intermediate-rated. While the trails are most popular with mountain bikers, they're also open to hikers and trail runners as well.
The route shown here is a logical loop around the trail system that seeks to eliminate any backtracking while maximizing the best sections of trail. To get a longer route, you'll need to mix in some of the cross trails and optional loops to get more mileage. Or, if you want a shorter route, you can easily use the connecting trails to form a much shorter option.
However you approach this trail system, if you're looking for beautiful singletrack in a forest, you're going to have a great time!
