To exit Granite Canyon, contour the north facing aspect of Granite Canyon heading east just above the Granite Creek bottom. There is almost always a highly visible traverse already in place, but if not visible, a general rule of thumb is to stay between 50 and 100 yards above the creek bottom on the skier's righthand side....

Pucker Face should in fact make you pucker! This bulging face is unsupported, and the snowpack is usually thinner than neighboring areas. There have been more than a few avalanche accidents and fatalities over the years....

From the top of the Tram, follow the ridgeline south, keeping the ropeline/ boundary markers on your right. Once is Enough is a real gemstone. This highly technical chute is accessed via the Cardiac Ridge Traverse. Ascend the traverse just past the entrance to Four Shadows and then head south, contouring below the summit....

Central Couloir is the north-facing gash separating the rock buttress forming Cody Peak that looks like the craziest ski line anyone could imagine. Though seemingly impossible, this highly technical line is in fact ridden by both skiers and snowboarders alike....
