Rebeco's line
Backcountry Skiing Route
Details
0.2 mi
0 ft
Easily accessed freeride with an optional large cliff jump
This line starts just after the junction of the Rebeco and Termopilas blue runs, where you traverse to the left. Keep your speed as the interesting part of this line is the middle section ridge. There is an entrance to a cliff just after the flat section where speed will be useful. It is an optional and avoidable cliff and can be anywhere from 3 meters to more than 10 meters so make sure you hit it where suits you. The landing faces north so that helps to keep the snow fresh. Apart from the cliff nothing is really dangerous on this line, as it doesn't go steeper than 35 degrees. Below the cliff it soon flattens off and rejoins the blue piste. Written by Kevin Blanc
