Rumble in the Trunks
A short but fun pitch of nicely spaced trees heading down towards the Symphony Express Chair. This is a good option if coming from Robertson's or Harvey's and heading towards Symphony although make sure the chair is open before you head down there as the walk out is long and boring! Heading off right wherever looks good and into the trees, then heading right again once you reach the cat-track which will take you to the bottom of Symphony Express....

Boot Chutes
If you're looking for something a little more interesting than a steep groomer or a mogul field for your last 100 metres down to Harmony Chair, look no further than the Boot Chutes, which offers gladed skiing which starts open and slowly filters tighter towards the bottom (and left)....

G.S. Start
From the end of the Ridge Run traverse, keep skiers right past the fence line until you see the wide field of G.S. Start to open up on your right hand side....

The Grey Zone
The Grey Zone is a large open zone in the alpine, accessible from a steep bootpack near Glacier Express. Once up the bootpack, known as 'The Chimney' there are 3 or 4 routes down including a couple of chutes and an open meadow....

Palooka
The best gladed route from where Burnt Stew Trail starts heading back towards Harmony. Just ski anything from the lift line to the left with some fun nicely spaced glades. Beware of the creek in early and late season....

Easy Route
On the trail map, Flute Bowl is marked as having intermediate, advanced and expert terrain. The easiest route (marked as a blue) requires little to no hiking and therefore is the perfect way to start to get a feel for the area before moving to more advanced and expert terrain....

Whistler Bowl Entrance
There are many ways to access the famous wide-open terrain of Whistler Bowl, many of which are lines that feature intimidating and sketchy entrances. The main entrance to Whistler Bowl is the most friendly and also the widest....

Tree Fall
Tree Fall is tucked between the cliff band and a tree island, and between Wishbone and Jersey Cream, Tree Fall is a fun chute to try if chutes aren't your thing but you want to get the adrenaline pumping....

Husume Flank
You can find this steep little pitch on the far right of the Blackcomb Glacier. As it curves around to the left look for the 'Ski Area Boundary' markers. This fun pitch hugs these markers closely just under the main Husume couloir (which is out of bounds)....

Tiger's Terrace
Short but sweet, so sweet! This pitch of trees lies between Air Jordan and a band of cliffs (with a couple of chutes that go depending on the snow year). This line is often forgotten about on a powder day despite being visible from both Red Chair and the Peak Chair line up, probably because you lose quite a bit of vertical getting there and you're committed to riding down to Red Chair afterwards....

Luger's Run
If you've ever ridden the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, then chances are you have looked down and have noticed the lift line that runs below on Blackcomb before crossing to Whistler....

Lox Chute
Lox Chute is located at the far end of the ridge along West Bowl, past Monday's, Cockalorum and Stefan's Chute. Lox's Chute takes a similar route to Stefan's. Travel between the rocks, taking the narrow path up top that is very steep before opening up into West Bowl below, and moving below Cream Cheese Ridge up above....

Don't Stop
Don't Stop is a fun front-side lap of Glacier Express chair. It is the first of three lines off the Crystal Traverse, just past Heavenly Basin. Don't Stop is a gladed run with a fun S-shaped chute wide enough to turn in, located half way down! The trees can be a little a tight depending on your chosen route and get tighter if you continue straight ahead....

Cancer Man
This run is the first pitch you'll see under the chair when uploading on the Crystal Ridge Express. Cancer Man is accessible by following the lift line from Backstage Pass/Rock N Roll....

Clean Out
On the far right hand side, at the top of where Secret Bowl truly begins is a great entry-level chute for those wanting to learn how to ski chutes or simply warm-up for the day....

Lower Feather Trees
Feather Trees are so named because they're small, like feathers. It's not gladed skiing, but likewise it's not big open pistes either. In addition, when you have trees they tend to help prevent the snow from slipping or being blown elsewhere in the wind....

Garnet Bowl
After reaching the top of the Spanky's Ladder boot pack, you've just entered into some of the best lift-accessed terrain in North America. At this point, you have a few options as there are many lines in this zone, some more intimidating and hazardous than others....

Horstman Peak
A bootpack up from the top of Showcase T-Bar leads you to the glacier, which should be open if the T-Bar is. However, on the rare occasion it isn't and you're desperate to get a few turns of sweet pristine virgin powder then you can continue on a 10 minute bootpack up towards Horstman Peak and get a few turns in bringing you back alongside the groomed run Showcase....

Stupid East
The ridge known as 'The Stupids' has several fun lines down it, Stupid East being the most open and 'easy' (for a double black). View the ridge out from below to check out entrances and cornices as depending on the snow that year, as they can get quite sizeable up there....

Wet Dreams
Often bypassed by riders in the Gunbarrels, Boomer Bowl or Lower McConkeys, Wet Dreams is a little stash of gladed powder. Although you can enter from the Gunbarrels, the area is best accessed from where Boomer Bowl sweeps into Lower McConkeys....
