400 feet of Mellow Tree Skiing
The Shady Trees at the top of Corbly Gulch are unlike most of the steep, rocky terrain around the Northern Bridgers. They are short, only 3-400 feet, but hold great snow most days, and can be skied with very little base. Head to the West side of the Summer Bowl, and down the Natural Halfpipe, taking it a little further in to the meadow. Skin up to the South and slightly West to the top of the knob. Ski just on the edge of the thicker trees for the best turns. Head back up the Corbly trail to the top of the Summer Bowl Headwall. Written by Charlie Boscoe
