Wide open bowl that cruxes down to 30ft after about 250ft

Morning Glory is an awesome way to get comfortable in D Route. It holds great snow and is sheltered from the sun, especially on the skier's right side. It gets sluffed out during control a lot, but will still hold great pockets of pow on the sides. It starts just past the prayer flags of Job 3 if you're coming from Schlasman's, or at the top of the Z if coming from Bridger. There is an obvious open bowl just under the traverse. Drop in and enjoy your wide open turns for about 150 feet. It soon narrows down to about 40ft wide and you will have to take it a little easier. At this point, it meets up with Job 3, and you can either traverse over to Job 2, go fall line down into 3, ride the steep trees just left of Job 3, or take the Lost Shot straightline to your far left. Morning Glory can usually be skied early in the season when other things are still filling in. Written by Matthew Shortland
