A short pitch, often forgotten about on a powder day
Short but sweet, so sweet! This pitch of trees lies between Air Jordan and a band of cliffs (with a couple of chutes that go depending on the snow year). This line is often forgotten about on a powder day despite being visible from both Red Chair and the Peak Chair line up, probably because you lose quite a bit of vertical getting there and you're committed to riding down to Red Chair afterwards. Despite this, this zone holds some blower pow when the snows fresh in the form of tree chutes. Stay close to the Air Jordan cliff for the mellowest route and don't veer too far right from the ridge as you'll end up cliffing yourself out! The run is accessed from the ridge above Shale Slope, follow it along where eventually you'll come to a tree island. Cliff signs direct you left but you can drop in just below the tree island to the right to access Tigers Terrace. Written by FATMAP Official
