The route linked above covers the whole Laugavegur hike, but a popular day option is the 10-mile round trip from Landmannalaugar to Brennisteinsalda. The trek leads you through geothermal hot springs, colorful rhyolite mountains, and vast lava fields, showcasing Iceland's unique and otherworldly landscape.
