From the Barrow Hills car park, take the path through the trees on the right (near the entrance). Follow the path all the way around as it turns right (parallel with Radley Road) to the end, where it comes out on Thrupp Lane. Cross Thrupp Lane and turn left and then right into Foxborough Road. Run along Foxborough Road, passing the Bowyer Arms on your right. Follow the road around to the left into Church Road. At the junction with Kennington Road, cross over the road and go right. Just past the entrance to Radley College, turn left through the gate onto the footpath.
Continue along the path, turning right and then left until you get onto the straight path passing sports pitches on your right. When you reach Radley Small Wood, take the left path and follow it to the edge of the wood, taking the second right. Continue through the middle of the field until you reach Sugworth Lane. Cross over the road and go into the wood opposite. Go over the small bridge and take the path on the right. Continue along this path until you come out onto The Avenue in Kennington. Cross the road and turn left. Continue until you reach Sandford Lane. Turn left into Sandford Lane and run under the railway to the small car park at the lock. Run through the car park, onto the river footpath. With the river on your left, continue for about Take the right turn onto a footpath heading away from the river. At the end of that footpath, turn left and continue until you reach the grass triangle. Turn right, and then at the next grass triangle, continue straight on. Run up the hill and over the railway bridge. Turn left and run back past the Bowyer Arms along Foxborough Road until you reach the junction with Whites Lane and Thrupp Lane. Turn left into Thrupp Lane and follow the lane around the first bend to the right. At the next bend, go right through the big gate and then left into the field. Run halfway through the field on the left edge and then cross diagonally towards the far-right of the treeline. Go through the gate and follow the path back into the car park.
