The 100-miler route ventures from the northern mountain range of the Mother City to the southern mountain and coastline.
It's a journey that takes you through not only varied terrain along the course, but also pockets of different communities and experiences, with excited energy heading up Kloof Corner, the coastal calm in the Deep South suburbs, and the fanfare at the Alphen Trail.
The final climb of the day, Garmin's Craziest Climb, takes you from UCT up to the King's Blockhouse before the contour winds back down to the finish, where you are welcomed home after completing 100 miles on Cape Town Trails.
