Tempo / Killer Climbs

Every year since 2016, after the local road racing season closes out and Cross is Coming, this hill climby romp starts in John's Landing of SW Portland and meanders through the steeps of Lake Oswego and West Linn. "Enjoy" lung-busting climbs punctuated by road-bike-friendly (with underbiking skills) legal single track in city parks. 53 miles, 8000' climbing.

Free event open to all. Donations to charities are appreciated.
Halfway Aid station supports Gifted Wishes, presented by Skratch Labs.
Finish line Celebration Station supports Community Cycling Center, presented by New Belgium Brewing.

ROUTE CHANGE
There is one small route change this year and henceforth. Dollar Street in West Linn at Mile 27.3 has been permanently altered due to Athey Creek Middle School construction. The aid station has been moved up the road just a skosh. Will be obvious. RWGPS routes have been corrected 8/21.

The course will NOT be painted this year (unless someone(s) volunteer to do so). I ain't doin' it.

VOLUNTEERS are Needed!
Giro PDX is the most labor intensive of the PDX Classics. Can you help?
Here's a google sheet with all the chores:
Most important chore remaining: Clear Trail markings in Wilderness Park. This is a great job for someone who lives nearby or someone who wants to ride slow and sweep the ride. (Intentionally be the last person on course.)
Thanks to those who have volunteered already.
