9th Annual UGLY Christmas Sweater Ride / BIKES for KIDS Fundraiser!
DETAILS:
Join us for Dialed Cycling Team's 9th Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater charity ride! Wear your UGLIEST Christmas Sweater for this "rain or shine" ride. A prize will be given to the best UGLY Sweater and best decorated bike, so have fun with it!
Pace: The ride will be slow (roughly 12-14 mph), social paced, no drops, and we will stop for mechanicals.
We will have a mid-ride pitstop at Compass Coffee in Downtown Vancouver.

The Dialed Cycling Team believes ALL kids deserve a bike! Additionally, we want more kids on bikes, so we are achieving two goals... Win-Win! We will kick things off with our UGLY Christmas Sweater Ride, and continue to raise money through the holiday season and into the New Year. ALL proceeds will go to purchasing new bikes for less fortunate kids who would likely never own a new bike.
The Dialed Cycling Team will assemble the bikes, deliver the bikes, and provide a workshop on cycling safety in conjunction with the Vancouver Police Department's PAL's program. Each child will receive a new Scott or Cannondale bicycle, Giro helmet, and a bike lock to help ensure their bike stays safe!
Watch Matt LeGrand's video (links on blog post) to learn more about our charity and meet some of the kids who we have been able to help in the past. Our goal is to purchase 10-20 bikes, helmets, and locks this year... Can you help?
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause as every dollar will make a direct impact on helping less fortunate kids know the joys of having a NEW BIKE!
