Tuesday Track

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

First lap amazing.

Second lap heat got real.

Problem solving through middle of 2nd to middle of 3rd.

I realized a bit too late that I needed to be more proactive with cooling methods because the Sun was directly overhead and my shadow was DIRECTLY BENEATH ME.

Solved the puzzles in the middle of the 3rd lap and rallied for the final 30k.

Was able to run most of the last lap, with exception of some strategic uphill hiking.

Wow. I don't think I've ever sweat so much.  Me feet were actually hot!  No blisters though.  Sun cover was well planned.  I just needed to keep it wet.

Probably the 3rd most difficult race I've completed.

The Kauai Coffee Plantation is like Hawaii's version of an English garden maze or a Midwest corn maze.
