40k for Aura’s 40th

This one time, at band camp...

Nikko’s poor bum 😢

Got a nice decent after a short climb.  Was planning on getting brekky at Shady Cove, but we weren't hungry so we skipped it.  

Stopped at DQ in White City for brekky.  Blizzard and Fries.  mmm
We grabbed a slice and drink at Martollis.  
Nikko and I took a dip at the Fairy Ponds before meeting Kai after his Fiddle Camp.  The Segers are back in town!  

Stopped at 7-11 to get a slurpee.  Junk food tour complete! That's where my phone died.  

 - The section after Shady Cove had the least shoulder and lots of traffic.  The rest of the busy highway had a large shoulder.
- Bear Creek Bike Path in Medford is getting shadier and shadier... more folks just tweaked out in the middle of the path.  The bike path is such a gem, but it's too bad.  
- We counted 42 road kill
- lot's of barking dogs, cows, sheep, and deer.  
- Nikko said, "I like bike touring... let's do a longer one" as we were rolling into town.  So I call this a success!  　👏 37.31 new miles
