I executed my race plan, it's something that I'm happy about! Everything went well until the last downhill, where I lost way too much time and placements. Guys passed me and I had no change to follow them. My calves were close to cramp and that affected so that I had to took it easier on the technical downhill. With a good downhill I could have been top-20, but now it was this 28th place. Better than in Thailand with wider starting field. Not disappointed, but no reason to celebrate either. 

First 30k it was just saying to myself that take it easy enough, you need energy for the last 15k. 😅 And the last uphill was good, could pass people and catch other ones. Nutrition worked out well but should have drank more water instead of only sports drink.

After finishing the race so slowly, body isn't even too tired. Most probably stiff feeling tomorrow and the day after, but I believe it's quite fast to recover. 

About 850 days until the next WMTRC in Spain. Luckily some time to learn to run the downhills. 🤗
