Great day out there. One of the kids I coach at the middle school was there and did the 10 mi distance, and got 3rd (!).

On the performance side of things, did this exact race 7 months ago and dropped a clean 40 minutes this time around. Felt good, learned some lessons from the Arnold Rim Trail a few weeks ago, and was able to eek out a first place finish in the last few miles. Wraps-up a great first season of trail racing. Now recovery, tackling a fun PCT project with some friends hopefully before snow hits, and then focusing on cross country skiing until the Springggggggggggggg
