Lunch jog

First 19 km on a road loop, slightly undulating at around 4 min/km, including some drink breaks. Last 7 km on the track at around marathon PB pace, just under 3:50 min/km.

Good workout, showing that fitness is on the up. That said, honest and realistic assessment is that a PB is probably out of reach in Berlin. Legs just lacking the conditioning of those 3-4 very important long runs with sustained effort at marathon pace.

All of that doesn’t mean I won’t give it a go though! I’m nothing if not stupid when it comes to goal races 😂
