Started out chiller than yesterday and gradually upped the power so managed to keep the HR a bit lower. So much climbing the first half of the day, but thoroughly enjoyed the descents (even the ones into dense fog in the morning) and hit 50mph a couple times 🤙. Got a nice tail wind from around mile 80 to 180. Took a while but finally got the avg speed over 20. Riding on US-2 at the end was a bit nerve racking. So many cars and people going like 80. Started to get pretty worn out from all the time in the sun towards the end and had quite a bit of up and down the last 20mi, was def ready to be done. The Adirondacks are absolutely gorgeous, wasn't expecting them to look so mountainous, they def aren't just big hills.
