Racing sunset. Really wanted to run around Mount Hood but the snow for 20 miles on it just wasn’t for me.  Was a really fun route but had to run with my phone out not knowing where I was heading.  The switchbacks are beautiful here,  but took it cautious on the downhill, some huge drops of you trip.  

Coulda done without the mid 30’s heat though,  was definitely dipping the hat in creeks where I could!  This is a new FKT for the route (it’s far from a highly contested route) 

Xodus ultras are great.

Mandatory selfie at Devils Peak,  stopped to chat with a few campers there.
