Gold Beach to California Border. What an adventure! Pressed through some pain and discomfort this morning, climbed a lot of hills, spent the day in fog and sea-side-cloud cover, and just kept chugging. Knowing that I had time to spare, I took some breaks - stacie and the girls weren’t going to make it to the border until 5ish. So I stopped for Subway for a while, then sat at the waterfront for a while, and slowly made my way along the shoreline for the last 5 miles. So grateful to be back with my family, and so much I need to process about this whole experience, but today, I am proud to have run across Oregon, and of my effort each day, and grateful that it’s done. Cheers!
