Morning Run w/ Cinder

Florence to William Tugman State Park. Back to back 50Ks! So helpful to have Geoff with me for support and encouragement. I had a good start in cool weather, but quickly into the run felt hungry and legs felt tired. Yesterday took a lot out of me- but as I keep seeing, there’s always more in the tank. Pushed through a couple walls, dealt with my bruised rib from mile 21 on, phone battery started dying, and the shoulders were narrow. But! Had support every several miles which raised my spirits and motivated to keep going. Some noteworthy things from today include running across several bridges, being inland and seeing the coast only once, lots of roadkill, incredibly cool alpine-like-lakes that fingered out in many directions, and great dip in Eel lake at the end. Good day grinding out more miles.
