Rode in the back of the bunch before the last climb. Stupid, because it split in front of me in the wind and a large group including me got dropped. We needed to chase a furious bunch, but could not quite make it before the last climb.

In the climb - surprisingly - I could close the gap to the bunch, but was dropped again over the top and finished in a large group. 

For me "luckily" the breakaway made it to the line, because it would have been quite frustrating to juuust miss one of the rare sprint opportunities due to an unnecessary split before the last climb. Of course would have anyway liked to sprint from the bunch for the remaining top 10 spots…

Overall once again hot racing. Both in terms of temperature and speed.
