This is a line that my father-in-law uses to explain after-the-fact why you had just completely checked out of a conversation/experience.
Well, that happened to me on today's ride. I was somewhere around Sunset Road before I realized I was in May Valley. Then I started making up for lost time by becoming hyper-aware of the wonderful setting: few cars, few raindrops, comfortable temps, smooth road.
