First in M40-49 sounds good, but the 2 guys ahead of me were M50-59 :-)
The tunnels were cool - literally and metaphorically. Piped classical music in the middle of the longer one was a little eerie.
There were quite a few gates to negotiate, steps and overly steep descents to struggle with, switch backs to get from one side of the canal to the other etc, so while the long core canal section is lovely and flat and fast, much of the rest doesn't lend itself to easy fast running. Pretty though.
