After three days of not biking on the road the weather warmed up enough for me to get out and ride. I chose my "New Caney - Tavola - Valley Ranch" route starting at 11:26 AM. I varied the route slight when I reach FM 1314 in Porter. Rather than continuing north on the service road I turned right onto FM 1314.
