Hot day, phone said 99 when I started. Wore vest with 1L of water/peach juice combo. Kept me feeling surprisingly good. Hills and heat are what I attribute to the slow pace. Also took some pictures along the way and had to stop to look at maps to make sure I wasn't going too far astray. Really pleased with how my legs felt on this run, didn't feel like they were crapping out on me!
