Big day over to Wales with Matthew. Unbelievably hot for this wee pale lad. I think I went through seven litres of fluids today? The top of Gospel was savage in the sun and the section between Hay on Wye and Monmouth was interminable. Felt better after a samosa and a ten minute nap then enjoyed the ride home. Happy to never do a big day in heat like that again.
