The shortest distance between two points is a straight line, which it felt like we were walking on as we went straight up the side of Mt Teneriffe to reach the summit. It explained a lot when we found the trail routes map sign on the way down ... And the route we had taken wasn't even listed on the map!

It was a real test for Drew, and he did amazingly on probably his most demanding hike ever.

We ran dry about a mile from the end, and I'm sure we're not going to be able to walk tomorrow, but all in all it was a great exploration.
