I forgot my phone so no pics.  I also forgot my taillight so I had to use my backup headlight, which is white rather than the customary red.

After crossing the bridge, I went R on Alexander Rd, by Fort Baker.  Moore Rd., which leads to the point of land under the N tower of the bridge (which is where I wanted to end up) was emphatically blocked; looks like that's a no-go, short of something creative and illegal.

But I was able to go on Conzelman Rd, under the bridge and back up the other side.  There was a security guard in a car but he just said Hi.  I went right by the construction yard I saw last time; security was minimal.

Eventually I got back to the electric gate to return across the bridge, and a voice came out of the speaker: "there's construction on this side; go to the west side and I'll buzz you in".  Fuck you!  That's like a 10 minute detour.  But what can ya do.

On the west side of the bride (facing the infinite Pacific) the wind was fierce; I had trouble riding in a straight line.  But it was OK, and I rode fast on the way  back to the car.  And my new rear tube held up fine.
