A net-flat GPS/Strava PB by 62 seconds. 93s quicker for the official time. 4th place of 104
My GPS was tracking the km markers nicely until the last 2 so I over-ran the finish line by 100 metres to get 10k. The extra bit was slower and took 30 seconds.
There was a 20km event on too that started 2 minutes before the 10km so I got to pass people all the way around :-)
The run contains a 19:56 5k according to my watch - essentially the first half, net downhill.
This was a "training race"/B-race so I didn't taper for it, just ran really easy the day before. Sub-40 looks possible if I took it seriously.
