Most of the way down to Osaka was blissfully devoid of any kind of wind... no tailwind, but also no headwind, which I'll take any day.

(I thought I'd have gotten PRs all the way down, but it turns out that the first time I took this path [  ], we had a massive tailwind, and even though I was in worse shape with a heavier bike, the wind trumped all.  I worked harder/better this time, but you can't beat Mother Nature.)


Then it got increasingly gusty while moving around the city, to the point of being ridiculous.  It was dark and overcast, but I kept my sunglasses on to protect my eyes from flying leaves and stuff.







Started at 7:15 in the mornin.... got home after dark.



This ride puts my Eddington number to 35.
