Crunching those leaves...

Birthday miles! Solo unsupported out and back on the full Escarpment Trail.  Maps say 46 plus miles (so my age plus 2 to grow on).  The first half was great...  finished the Escarpment race section in sub 5, and got to the turn around in 6:08 feeling relaxed and strong.  The second half was rough! Dealing with lots of leaves obstructing your view of rocks and roots really wears on you after a while. 
Also, stupid Suunto- i did NOT do a weird loop by Schutt rd (although I did accidentally stop it for 2 seconds), and it must have lost signal a couple other places.
