I wanted to do Three Bears, with the wrinkle of taking the little road that meanders through San Pablo Reservoir Park instead of San Pablo Dam Road (SPDR).  The meandering road is indeed beautiful, though much of it is actually a closed-to-cars dirt road.

Anyway, eventually I got back on SPDR.  Some doofus on an electric bike passed me, and I was chasing him down when my rear tire went flat!  At this point I had gone 7 miles. No patch kit or anything.  I started walking back, pushing the bike, thumb out.  No one stopped.  So I hid the bike in some bushes, ran (on SPDR) back to the car, then drove back and got the bike.

Not exactly what I had in mind, but it was a good workout.  When I got home I checked the tire; it looked fine.  The tube had a 1/4" tear on the tread side.  I went on Amazon and ordered a couple of tubes, an under-seat pack, and a hand pump.  And also a new seat - the current one doesn't play well with my anatomy.
