Having a little head cold also had my ambitions in check today but half way thru I got fired up to give it my best today and not be satisfied with anything less the 100%
I started mellow and joined Keck and Christian. I decided with only a couple races left this year I had better nail this one! Took off on the decent of Dowells I thought I could hear the sound of riders behind me on several occasions, it was risky going from this far out. And since I was full in TT mode worried that if I got caught id have an empty tank to respond so I kept my head down.
Couldn't believe i could beat the course record of 6:51 since the new reroute 3 years ago on Tighlman west adds 10 minutes!

 sometimes you just gotta hammer.
