Mt. Shasta - Hotlum Direct Attempt via Brewers Creek TH

Tons of deadfall and debris. So much on the Clover Creek Cut-Off that I missed it on the way up adding another mile and a quarter I hadn’t anticipated. Still fun, little more time than I planned for, took the Cut-Off on the way down, maybe didn’t save any time due to the log hurdling but saved some mileage. Gorgeous day out and up. Total time start to finish went at 7:18:34 with a sloppy 22:38 total transition time. Definitely could go under 7, maybe around 6 if I get my ass in bike shape again and had a partner to draft with.  Wind is also a huge factor. Should look into wind patterns on this route for optimal speed.
