"Good evening, Deer!" Roadkill greets a doe crossing Rock Creek Trail on her way to join a friend at the neighborhood garden buffet. Two rusty rabbits decorate a flowerbed. Masked friends out for a walk exchange toe-tap greetings, then step back to chat from a safe distance.
