3:21:00 vs Ryan Flint’s recent time of 3:28:17. Ryan (Saunders this time) told me to go ahead. Reluctantly went for it on dead legs. Went around 38k. 3k in my legs felt like garbage. Remember that your day can turn around no matter how crappy you feel at any point during an effort like that. To be completely honest here, that’s why I was so reluctant to pull away from Ryan. When your initially plan is a support role it’s hard to run away with it. Proud for him continuing to push right till the end! (And I also appreciate that he was so close behind me by the time I dropped some stuff at the car I only had to walk a little bit to catch him run by to the finish!) 🤠💥💥
