I was due to help at a Scout marquee hire past Blair Atholl so thought i'd spend the day cycling Highland Perthshire. Have always fancied visiting Corrievarkie Lodge - a very remote inhabitation on the shores of Loch Ericht, so i did. Road was a bit rough in places for the road bike. I was fairly struggling back out over the hill from the lodge into quite a headwind. By the time of the climb over Schiehallion again i was pretty much spent!!
