Jonathan Manning enjoys the spectacular scenery of the Lake District on this stunning route around Derwent Water from Borrowdale Club Campsite in Cumbria. 
The majority of the route hugs the shore of the lake while there is the opportunity to visit the town of Keswick near the halfway point to break up the ride and refuel.
