Definitely having one of those mega blessing days today 🙌🏽⛰ Since April of 2018 Kalālau trail was closed indefinitely from major flooding and just reopened a couple days ago!  I feel so humbled from my experience today.  The trail was very rugged,  overgrown and hard to navigate in the valleys.   Never the less it was absolutely mindblowing!  After an amazing & and extremely intense 4:59 I was able to experience a handful of epic slams & wipeouts,  getting lost multiple times in the valley saddles from the trail being entirely covered with leaves at times (most of the time),  major leg crampage for the last 12 miles of the trail,  maybe one of the best days of my life!!! ⛰🙌🏽👹🏃🏾😍😍😍 I was aiming for the low 4 hour round trip but had to recalibrate along the way for a sub 5 hour which I had to mind fight my leg cramps and have an epic and super painful down will to come in at 4:59 😂WOW KALALAU!!! My favorite place in the universe 🌌.  Now I just need to somehow hike back in for the remaining 3 days of da permits 😝
