Obliterated my previous best (35:47) despite tired legs in a huge confidence booster for the Race To The Top of VT this Sunday. I don't think I'll be able to improve on this very much -- ran or scrunbled every step, and paced myself perfectly. Felt smooth and fast (though not reckless) on the descent, but still nowhere near my Jan. 2012 best -- I must have been at suicide pace, as I remember early winter conditions. Will always be my favorite run. 































































































































In other news, nice to rediscover that the X-Talon 212 is still the best pure mountain shoe ever made (if they fit your feet), and the new version is even better.
